The logical approach to the problems of space warming by electricity

The present shortage of generating plant is a great handicap in the struggle towards a better standard of living, and the electric heating load is one of the major causes. The paper discusses means by which the persistent public demand for electric heat can be met without excessive load on generating plant or heavy coal consumption. Domestic space warming by electricity is recommended as a subject for large-scale research, which may indicate that it is the best way of conserving national resources of plant and coal as well as a remedy for the evil of atmospheric pollution.
