Abstract :
Armour Institute At the meeting of the Armour Institute Branch held on March 8, in the physics lecture room, Mr. Charles Jones, chief engineer of the Aurora, Elgin, and Chicago Electric Railway, gave a very interesting talk on “Some Experiences in Electric Railway Building.” In his paper Mr. Jones pointed out many of the necessary qualifications of the successful engineer. His paper was of exceptional interest and held for two hours the attention of the ninety members and visitors present.
