  • Abstract
    A special meeting of the Institute in honor of Sir William Preece, K.C.B., F.R.S., was held in the Auditorium of the Engineers´ Building on April 15, 1907, the eve of the dedicatory ceremonies. With this meeting, and the illumination of the building, inside and outside, the dedicatory exercises were formally begun.
