The following five articles∗ (pages 685–733) are “Introductions” to discussions to take place at the 24th Annual Convention of the Institute, Niagara Falls, N. Y., June 26, 1907, at 9:45 a.m. They are not intended to be formal or complete papers, but to serve merely as a basis or framework for discussion on the subjects with which they deal. All those connected with the Institute and desiring to take part in these discussions may do so by being present at the meeting, or if this is not possible by sending in written “Contributions.”
