  • Abstract
    Mr. Langsdorf assumes, in Fig. 1, that the magnetic flux produced by one of the coils lodged in the slots can be represented by a straight line parallel with the abscissa. This assumption is erroneous and, therefore, vitiates the conclusions that are drawn from his mathematical arguments.
