Abstract :
A multichannel decision feedback equaliser (DFE) based on the space diversity combining (SDC) technique is proposed for the uplink of a synchronous WPMA system. Over time-varying multipath fading channels, simulation results show that the developed equaliser is very effective in combatting intersymbol interference (ISI), multiple access interference (MAI) and deep fading, while providing acceptable system performance and maintaining low computational complexity
