Abstract
Part 1 is concerned with the general requirements of the electrical equipment for Diesel-electric rail vehicles. Part 2 describes the transmission equipment and the methods used to ensure that service requirements are met. Part 3 describes the electrical equipment of particular installations made by British manufacturers for shunting locomotives, rail-cars, and main-line locomotives.
