Abstract :
A technique for the study of on-board antennas mounted over arbitrary structures is presented. The arbitrary shape of the bodies is achieved by employing parametric surfaces called nonuniform rational B-splines. The method solves the physical optics integral following an asymptotic technique known as the `stationary phase method´. Both the comptutational efficiency and accuracy of this procedure increase as the electrical size of the structure increases
