  • Abstract
    Professor William A. Anthony was graduated at the Sheffield Scientific School (Yale) with the class of 1860. He taught school in New England for a time, then served for several years as a professor at Antioch College in Ohio and later at the Iowa State College. In 1872 he was called to the Chair of Physics at Cornell.
