Abstract :
This reported work addresses the throughput of an ALOHA-based Poisson-distributed multi-hop wireless network which is subject to a delay constraint in packet delivery. An exact expression and also a tight approximation are derived, based on the Central Limit Theorem, for the end-to-end multi-hop throughput. The result also determines the throughput-maximising number of relays to be used between each source-destination pair.
