Abstract :
This paper reports on using a dual reflector antenna to improve the bandwidth of a free space material measurement system that was based on dielectric lens horn antennas. Low-cost offset parabolic dishes, intended for the domestic satellite TV market, are used to generate the required focused beam. Results show that, for a system that costs less, the operating frequency band of the lens system may be doubled
