Abstract :
The general mechanical and magnetic properties of ferrites, particularly manganese-zinc ferrite, are described, and the types of engineering application for which they appear suitableare discussed. Examples of such applications are given, with references. Curves, Tables and dimensioned sketches are presented to demonstrate quantitatively what may be accomplished, particularly in practical designs of filter coils and high-frequency transformers.
