Abstract :
A year after the release of 3D blockbuster ´Avatar´, its wider impact on film technology is clear to see. The paper discussed the impact of 3D technology on film making. It has seeded a 3D technology market, funding the R&D needed to develop cameras, motion capture systems and tools that are now being used by other filmmakers for less cost.
