Abstract :
Spectrum sharing is a promising technology to address the growing demand for mobile data in commercial wireless networks. Self Organizing Network (SON) systems, already widely adopted by operator and standard bodies to manage and optimize commercial wireless networks, is an ideal place to implement spectrum sharing techniques. This paper proposes a Spectrum-Coexistence SON (SC-SON) architecture for wireless networks that share their spectrum with other systems. The proposed architecture is amenable to both centralized and hybrid implementations.
