Abstract :
A simple, effective and efficient procedure is proposed for searching the quasioptimum frequency assignment for equal carrier systems. The quality of solutions is marginally the same as published results, but the required computation time, in comparison with existing procedures, is reduced by a factor of N/2, where N is the number of slots.
