Abstract :
If Victor Frankenstein were a modern scientist, he´d get rid of those smelly chemicals, rotting body parts and dangerous electrodes. He´d create life on his computer workstation, and, if he were smart, he wouldn´t unleash his creation on unsuspecting villagers. No, he´d sell it as a computer game. But he´d have to wait in line. Programmers have already incorporated artificial life (A-life) into several computer entertainment programs. We look at three that have recently been introduced in the USA: “Creatures”, “Aquazone” and “Fin Fin on the Magic Planet Teo”
