Abstract :
The global energy situation is examined with respect to dwindling resources and new technologies. Planning and development of energy resources and reserves in Greece are discussed. Alternative renewable energy resources for Greece, particularly wind energy, solar energy, and nuclear power, are considered. Alternative renewable energy prospects for Europe are assessed, and European energy planning activities are described.<>
