Abstract :
We review the corresponding references and find out that there exists a mess indeed. The angular displacement refers to the stator winding impedance angle. It is worth mentioning that the power factor angle approximately equals to the equivalent circuit impedance angle disregarding the rotor asymmetry resulted from an incipient rotor fault. Consequently, it is reasonable to regard the angular displacement as the power factor angle.
