Abstract :
The authors propose and have realised, highly sensitive 2DEG Hall crosses for the measurement of tyre tread deformation in automotive research. Monolithically integrated three-dimensional position sensors with a sensitivity of S1=699 V/AT have been fabricated and used for the measurement and analysis of tyre parameters. A complete telemetry system for the wireless transmission of sensor signals has been realised. The passive transponder concept is discussed
