´Kelly´ Johnson was arguably the most successful engineering project manager this century, producing a series of outstanding aircraft that pushed technology to the limits. Much of his work was surrounded by secrecy but now the veil is being lifted. In the first part of a two part series, the author takes a look at this remarkable man and his career.
