Abstract :
Crosstalk arising from stimulated Raman scattering may be cancelled by spectral inversion for low-speed wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) systems. By evaluating the crosstalk variance, the limitation of the method is provided in term of the allowable walkoff length, limiting to low-speed system with long walkoff length up to hundred of kilometers.
