Abstract :
In this issue of IEEE Control Systems Magazine (CSM), we speak with Donald Pierre, emeritus professor at Montana State University, where he served on the faculty for 38 years. Donald has made contributions to control design and simulation, optimization, numerical methods, and power system dynamics and control. His classic book Optimization Theory with Applications was reprinted by Dover Publications in 1986.
