Abstract
It is shown that the pressure-flow (P-F) relationship in intravenous infusion systems can be simply described by the flow parameters R L (linear-resistance) and F E (flow nonlinearity). The relative-pressure error due to nonlinear flow is found to be insignificant in the flow range used for therapeutic intravenous infusion therapy (F\n\n\t\t
