Abstract
Either the resistivity and permeability of a magnetic material or the resistivity and magnetic penetration depth of a superconductor can be simultaneously estimated from the difference in the complex impedance between a circular solenoid coil coaxially surrounding a cylindrical conductor and an identical coil without a sample conductor. A method for calculating the difference in the complex impedance at a high frequency including the displacement current to an accuracy of 0.1% is reported. Comparison of the values calculated by this method and the values obtained by a conventional method which does not include the term of displacement current is also included
