  • Abstract
The summer before starting college, I decided that I should find a job on campus to support myself. Having had no real-life work experience prior to this, my parents suggested that I look for a position in a laboratory to gain useful skills in addition to pocket money. Following their advice, I found myself working in a laboratory one month into my first semester. Four years, three laboratories, and three research projects later, I can say with great certainty that I love research.
