Abstract :
A photoreceiver of a rangefinder operating within eyesafe radiation range is preserved. The main subsystems of the photoreceiver were analysed. Computer simulation of the photoreceiver was performed and the obtained results were coincident with experimental ones. The original system enabling automatic control of a comparator threshold was used. A system for power supply and stabilisation of the working point of an avalanche photodiode (APD) ensures a constant value of photodiode sensitivity within a wide range of temperature changes. The photoreceiver allows reception of 10-200 ns laser pulses
