  • Abstract
    Chlorine ion is excellent oxidant, so it is always used as disinfectant and cleanser. Therefore, the chlorine ion measurement system is developed in this paper. In the measurement system, the microcontroller, PIC18F4520, is used as the control unit, and the accurate measurement values can be obtained with software correction. Hence, the average error quantity modified by software correction is 0.05, which is smaller than without software correction (0.166). The accuracy is apparently improved. In addition, the wireless transmission is provided in this paper, and the measurement system has been successfully finished. Consequentially, the measurement system is suitable to develop real-time and portable chlorine ion measurement system.
