Abstract :
A survey of the types of radiation shows that only ¿-rays and high-speed electrons are worth consideration for industrial radiation. Possible applications and the methods of producing such radiation are discussed briefly. The problems of the introduction of irradiation into industry are examined, and the method applying electron irradiation are explained in detail. A typical installation is described, and the economic aspects are considered.
