Abstract :
Discussions on how the practice of extend producer responsibility (EPR) improves the development of economy, environment and society has been the hot topic in the sustainability field. Although the solution is still unclear, the key problem of the EPR study has made great progress. However, inasmuch as multilateral stakeholders and benefits (economic, environmental and social), we should pay more attention on the organizational coordination between stakeholders in macro level, not only the individual operation in micro level. Therefore, based on the literature review of EPR study, this paper presents a framework for sustainability implementation of EPR to explore the efficiency of EPR system and the sustainability of the supply chain. The theory of supply chain governance (SCG) is used to obtain most key factors and mechanisms of EPR implementation. Based on the theory of SCG, we propose key issues in further sustainability Implementation of EPR, and present the impact of the enlightenments on the stakeholder (scholars, practitioners, government) in the larger social and environmental context.
