Abstract
A common request from EMC Society members, through feedback at the annual International Symposium on EMC, for example, is that members want more information on the Society´s sponsored standards. This is something the Society is keen to provide. One part of that is to update and evolve the web pages since these are a first port-of-call for most of the members looking for information. This article introduces what is currently there and invites you to take a look around and get back in touch with me, Alistair Duffy (apd@dmu. ac.uk) as Chair of the Standards Development Committee, or Don Heirman (d.heirman@att.net) as Vice President for Standards, with any comments or suggestions about what you would like to see there. There are changes afoot in the EMC Society´s standards activities and these will be reflected later in the year. The main change is that the Standards Development Committee (SDCom) and the Standards Education and Training Committee (SETCom) are merging. However, the current status is reported here but there will be an update next year in the EMC Society Magazine.
