Abstract :
A coupled-line-fed ultra-wideband planar antenna with dual band-notched characteristics is proposed. Narrow frequency band notching at 3.5 and 5.5 GHz is achieved using bent resonators coupled to the main feedline. Moreover, the two notched bands can be controlled independently. The proposed antenna design is tested using two independent full-wave solvers.
