Vancouver, Canada, has played a role in high-tech development, especially software. Editor Michael N. Geselowitz reviews just a few of the innovations fostered in beautiful Vancouver. A visit to Vancouver might include the University of British Columbia; TRIUMF, Canada´s national laboratory for particle physics; and UBC´s Museum of Anthropology.
