Abstract
A new method of high-voltage stabilization and its practical application are described. The method uses an electron velocity analyser to measure changes in voltage. The operation and limitations of the device are analysed in detail. The degenerative feedback circuit includes parallel d.c. and a.c. amplifiers. In operation, a stability of 2¿3 parts in 106 is obtained on a 50-kV supply.
