Abstract :
The present work applies a model of ideal physical activity using dynamic loads based on the athlete´s profile. The proposed prototype is formed by a mechanical artifact and the control- monitoring system of the exercise in real time through an embedded system. The control system receives a remote profile through an Ethernet network and uses motion sensors and stepper motors to increase or decrease the activity load. This prototype optimizes physical activities focus on loss body weight or gain muscle mass.
