Abstract :
This work investigates the effectiveness of a system for the cooperative sensing of people located behind a wall. The targets are equipped with a tag that introduces a low-frequency modulation in the scattered electromagnetic wave in order to allow the identification of the monitored subject. Preliminary experimental results are presented for targets located in empty rooms. Measurements indicate that the tags can be reliably identified through a common brick wall.
