Abstract :
In this paper we present the design and characterization of a bandpass filter based on an integrated tunable Active Inductor (AI), to be used as post-selector filter in GSM or general UHF radio receivers. The filter is designed as a discrete element board. It shows a center frequency ranging from of 810 to 980 MHz with Q factor greater than 100. The 1-dB compression point is at OdBm with a resulting 77 dB dynamic range. As a system feasibility demonstration, a co-design Antenna/LNA/Post-selector filter has been carried out, and preliminary results here presented.
