Abstract :
The frequency characteristics of interdigital circuits are obtained in a simple manner based on an equivalent circuit. The loading is studied so that they yield adequate phase characteristic and impedance for travelling-wave tubes. A modified type of interdigital circuit which may be suitable for amplifiers at millimetre wavelengths is also described.
