Abstract :
Prof. Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli has had a profound impact on many business and research operations and touched many people´s lives. Examples of his influence can be found from the halls of the University of California, Berkeley, to the offices of Cadence Design Systems and its research facility at Berkeley (see Figure 1).
