Albert Sangiovanni-Vincentelli´s Family Tree [Footer]

Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli is very proud of his family. His wife, Marika Di Benedetto, is a professor of control at the University of L´Aquila, Italy. Alberto met his wife at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1987, although Alberto did not remember, having thought they met in 1990 in Berkeley. (He professes himself to be in the doghouse since this tragic mistake was discovered!) She held visiting positions at MIT, the University of Michigan, and (of course) the University of California, Berkeley, where she also held the title of McKay professor and adjunct professor.
