Abstract
This paper presents a novel method to optimize the transposition design for large current winding of power transformer. The multi-section quasiaxisymmetrical scheme is used for the magnetic field-electric circuit coupled analysis and circulating current calculation. The improved genetic algorithm combined with complex strategy is adopted to search the optimal design. The satisfactory results are obtained with the method
