Editor´s comments

Getting to the point of writing this column has been a bit wild. I´ll explain below. We have two outstanding features, a tremendous amount of news regarding both the Society and the Newsletter/Magmine (all of it good, no less!), and a lot of important and interesting information in this issue. There are also several items upon which you may wish to act, including an early deadline for the 1990 AP-S/URSI/MTT symposium, and several opportunities for additional people to become involved with the Newsletter and to help AP-S.
