Editor´s comments

We\´re going to be a magazine! It has been approved: Our Newsletter will begin its thirty-second year of publication as the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine! At least, the Publication Board (PUB), and the combined PUB Society Publications Committee and TAB Periodicals Committee (SPC), have approved the conversion. Final approval by TAB should occur in early June, with the Executive Committee and Board including it in the All Transadtions Package (which is actually the "all archival publications package") soon thereafter. Special "Thanks!" go to Irene Peden, Gary Brown, Tim Trick, Jim Tien, Chester Smith, Irv Engelson, Me1 Olken, the members of both PUB and SPC, Merrill Skolnik, the members of Publication Services, the AP-S AdCom, and everyonelse who helped bring this about. Remember, also, that it was Bob McIntosh and Dan Schaubert who provided the leadership and built the foundation which demonstrated that we could produce a publication of magazine quality, and that it is our Associate Editors, past and present, who have done so much of the work.
