Abstract :
A numerical procedure for the analysis of an electric circuit containing a ferromagnetic cored component is presented. The proposed approach is based on a finite element voltage-driven formulation, which simultaneously solves the magnetic field and electric circuit equations, taking into account the magnetic hysteresis of the core. To this end, the Dynamic Preisach Hysteresis model, including mean field effects, is applied. Different core structures are considered and the computed results are validated by the experiments
