Abstract
In this paper we present some theoretical and numerical results concerning the simulation of eddy currents in nonstationary structures. Both 2D and 3D models are considered. The approximation is based on the sliding-mesh mortar method combined with node elements in 2D and edge elements in 3D. An implicit Euler scheme is used to discretize in time
