Abstract :
The recent proposal of transmission control of dark solitons by means of nonlinear gain is reconsidered with a direct perturbation approach for the dark one-soliton recently developed by the authors. The same final results are obtained, in addition to a shift of the soliton center which is also relevant to the problem of signal transmission
