Abstract :
IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of membership in IEEE. SSIT actively encourages its members become IEEE Fellows. However, IEEE Fellow can be conferred on no more than 0.1% of the voting membership of the IEEE in a given year. Does this sound really ugly? Well, it´s not so bad. Last year, there were slightly more than 800 nominations, with over 320 elevated to Fellow for almost a 40% success rate.
