    For original paper see J.P. Crine, ibid., vol.4, pp.487-95, 1997. The original paper by Crine provides further consideration and experimental data in support of the already well-known model for the electrical/thermal/mechanical aging of polymeric insulation proposed by the same author some years ago. This paper comments on certain aspects of Crine´s model. A reply by Crine is included
