Abstract :
The Berlekamp-Massey algorithm can be implemented without inversion. For high-rate codes with large field size, the proposed implementation will significantly reduce the space complexity in comparison with Massey´s implementation, while still having the same or less time complexity. A logic circuit which can be implemented in VLSI is given.<>
