Abstract
Logarithmic pixel arrays have a higher input dynamic range than alternative designs which makes them more suitable for imaging naturally illuminated scenes. Unfortunately. The quality of the images from this type of array is severely degraded by variations between devices in individual pixels. A new logarithmic pixel circuit is proposed which can be trimmed to compensate for these variations. Furthermore. The pixel has been designed to be robust to changes in operating temperature which might otherwise degrade the quality of the image
