Abstract :
An optical parallel processor is implemented for binary images with three cascaded bipolar-operational spatial light modulators that support the reversible readout and storage capabilities of binary images. All 16 Boolean operations are performed in real time according to the electric pulses. The programmable processor will serve for both optical digital signal processing and real-time image processing.<>
